Did LOVE coasters. Useful, easy, inexpensive and people loved them.
I use the ice-cream scoop we once received. That's a good idea too (in terms of useful favors).

We are doing customized shot glasses filled with hershey kisses and candy hearts wrapped in plastic with a ribbon.

Since our wedding is the day after Thanksgiving (the kick off to the Christmas season) We are giving ornaments as a favor. I got them a couple of weeks ago at Target when the Christmas stuff was 90% off !!!

im getting white boxes (2x2' or 3'x3') and baking oatmeal rasin/cranbury cookies and placing them in the boxes with a translucent silver ribbon around the box.....it really inexpensive! only about 50 cents- 75cents per box...and then the ingredents for the cookies......im having at leat 200 guests so i wanted to save as much money as i could for the favors

we are donating to the breast cancer fond. and the place cards are going to be in a small picture frame so we are giving those too!!
