I ordered my shot glass favors from discountmugs.com & they sent me 211 shot glasses with the wrong logo on it (cute, but not what I originally ordered). So I let customer service know and now they are sending me new ones with the logo I want... no charge AND i get to keep the ones I already have... YAYY!! but what am I going to do with 422 shot glasses at a 250 people wedding? lol everyone's gonna be wasted at our wedding
thank you discountmugs.com!

Re: favors
both logos show two cutsey little kid characters hugging each other.. the mistake was that they put the wrong logo (doesn't really look like a mistake to anyone else but me.. but it's not what i wanted/ordered.. i ordered the logo which had a bride and groom hugging each other). i wouldve returned the ones they sent, but when they said i could keep them i was happy b/c i was thinking i could use some of the first glasses as candle holders for my tables (but of course the candles dont fit in shot glasses). so i'm just going to stick with my original plan.. put some jordan almonds in little bags and put them in the second shot glasses. i'll give people 2 each and just figure out how to make the 1st ones not look so empty (w/out the jordan almonds) when i put them on the tables
any other ideas as to what i could put in the 1st shot glasses?
im not even putting them in boxes.. im just leaving them on the table..hope that wont look unclassy, but i wasnt even planning on spending so much on favors (the shot glasses werent expensive) but we're doing our own CD favors.. and of course everything always adds up

Re: favors
The logo really personal? Maybe you can re-sell it to other brides looking for favors?
Like me... I think shot glasses are a great practical one!

Re: favors
I would just give them away - fill them with candy - anything

Re: favors
Can you put one on the table for everyone to use and put the other one in a gift box/bag as additional favors?
I ordered shot glasses from there and they were a hit. Also, right before dessert, we kept up the theme by bringing out chocolate shot glasses with raspberry vodka in them to get people back out onto the dance floor

I've never made gel candles before but i've seen the kits in Michaels. It can't be too hard.
