FAVORS

Im so confused what to do about favors. I dont want to give something that looks cheap and I dont want to spend a lot of money either.
I was thinking of doing bottle stoppers.
I was also thinking of doing instead of favors, a candy bar. But Im having a viennese table so Im thinking maybe that will be too much?

Maybe I should just get cake boxes and have people take a piece of wedding cake home?

Any suggestions?

So far I think I am having coasters with the word LOVE on them. However I just discovered that a dear friend of mine makes the best oatmeal and raisin cookies I have ever tasted and I am think of asking her to make them so I can give them as favors.

I also saw an idea a while back that I think will be good for you since you are having a viennesse. How about a breakfast bag? You give them some jam, and a few scones or other breakfast pastries that they can enjoy the next morning.

Also think of something meaningul, something they wont throw away. Many people, including myself throw out every single favor.

I went to a wedding a while back where they gave each family a movie, which was the movie they saw on their first date.

i think i may do the wine bottle stoppers too. the ones with the assymetrical heart. everyone can use those!!

I also like the idea of caramel apples for a fall wedding- but I'm not sure how well that will actually work, I have to research it more.

I agree a candy bar or wedding cake will probably be overload with a vienesse hour.

I'm doing bottles of wine and bottle stoppers.
I don't think you'd save that much money doing a candy buffet... you need A LOT to make it look good.
