Favors

This is a two part question i guess ladies....
FH and I want to do a donation as a wedding favor. But i also want to give guests a little something to take home. I was thinking of making mini solid white chocolate wedding cakes as a favor. I'd box it up and tie a bow, ya kno the whole 9 yards. i want the chocolates to be rounded, like not for the back of the cake to be flat....

oh so my first question is... where on earth do i find a chocolate mold where the back of the cake isnt going to be flat???

my second question is how do i state that we've also made a donation on behalf of our guest?? do i put this on the tag on the box or a seperate card per guest??

TIA for you help!!!!

Re: Favors

If you plan on making the chocolates yourself you can go to the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale or Grandma's Kitchen in Wantagh. They have a lot of molds.

I would put that you are making a donation on the tag and say what organization.

ITA! The Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale has thousands of candy molds, you should be able to get it there. You can also try Candy Lane on Higbie Lane in West Islip.

I would put the donation info on the favor tag...

Re: Favors

There is a great store on Lawson Boulevard in Oceanside that sells molds. To make it totally round, I think you may have to put two molds together.
I would attach a tag to each box explaining the donation.
