IMO it depends on what you are giving, cost-wise. We are doing a candy bar/buffet so I bag per person and go nuts!

im doing one per person........because this is where my problem lies....
we assign tables, but not exact seats.....
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO how do i know what place settings to put one per person (if they're single) or one per 2 people (if they're couples)???????
i dont want to put them w/placecards cuz i dont want ppl feelin like they gotta carry them around CH
does anyone have a solution for this????? cuz then i can cut a little cost at least.....
****although, opinion please: we're doing coasters, and they come 2 in a pack....so i thought originally that each person should get it cuz even if they're a couple, it would be nice for them to have 4 coasters, right? should i jus stick w/per person instead of per couple?*********

I have wondered the same thing!!!! Then I decided on a donation sooooo it doesn't really matter anymore
