Favors

Hi everyone, I'm getting married next February and would like a Valentine's day theme. Do you have any ideas for favors? I thought a book of love poems for each couple/individual was a good idea? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I was recently married by Father Robert Allmen of the American Catholic church (his church is not part of the Roman Catholic church). Our service was spiritual and we did have a religeous reading, but that was our choice. We found him via a reccomendation from our catering hall and he was wonderful. http://www.geocities.com/WestHollywood/4136/

I'm also having an interfaith ceremony. Cantor Benedict is marrying us. If you'd like his info, email me and I'll send it to you directly. Good luck!

Stephanie, do you have a catalogue? I checked out the website but there aren't any prices or order information. Thanks!

Another in Patchogue is Paradise Bridals right down the block from the Bridal Suite. I didn't buy my dress there, but I thought the women there were very helpful and they had a good selection.

Thanks Rachel, I looked up the address and phone number (it's very close to my house). I'm going to stop by one night next week.

YES THAT SOUNDS NICE! I NEVER DID THAT

Thanks for the great idea - I'm going to start working on my favors now so I don't get bombarded closer to the big day.

17 mile drive in Carmel/Monterey is suppose to be gorgeous. Hearst Castle at San Simeon also. Can you go to Catalina Island before you head north? We are going to CA next month, planned prior to starting wedding plans and we are going to check out 17 mile drive. Other than that we will be in SF and above. Sounds nice, take the scenic route & enjoy.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
