Every time that I've been to. A wedding and get favors I don't need. I feel bad throwing it away so it just sits there until I finally give up and chuck it. I want something different. Something more fun than a donation in their name. Maybe a cupcake with our wedding date? Something edible. Ideas?

Edible favors are my favorite. How about a nice box with some chocolates, or truffles in a nice apothacary jar. Abottle of wine per couple!

we did bride and groom pops from afresh approach. We also had take home boxes with a personalized sticker to take home desserts from VH

I'm doing personalized hershey kisses in a clear favor box, and some sort of flower or ribbon to decorate... ..I found the idea on www.beau-coup.com

we are doing lollipops with our names on a sticker on the front and a picture of us on a sticker saying 'how sweet it is to be loved by you' on the back...

I LOVE edible favors!!! We did wedding cake cookies from The Sugar Chic located in Commack. They came out adorable and everyone loved them. They also tasted delicious! Here is a pic of the custom cookie Melissa from The Sugar Chic created for me. They come individually wrapped with a ribbon (color of your choice) and you can add a tag to it too!
I HIGHLY recommend them if you're interested in a cookie favor!!
We are going to do cupcakes-which happen to be one of our favorite things

I love edible, or drinkable, but everyone doesn't drink wine or champagne. But, who doesn't eat cupcakes or cookies?

I can vouch for the sugar chic or A Fresh Approach... both make amazing products. Can't go wrong if you do an edible from either one.
I didn't do an edible favor because at Russo's., they provide boxes for guests to take home dessert from Viennese... that combined with the ridiculous amount of other food they serve, I didn't want to send people home with something else to eat.
I'm also not a fan of the knick knacky stuff like picture frames and coasters... I think they're a waste of money. I like more practical things. So we chose a beautiful chrome pasta server. Other favorite favors I've received are a cake server and an ice cream scoop.. things that can be used.
