Our placecards are actually custom hockey pucks since FH has played hockey since he was little and when we first met we both had an extra ticket to a Ranger game on each other b-days. We joke how the Rangers brought us together On one side it says official wedding hockey puck with two sticks and a heart with our names and wedding date. The other side has the persons name and table.

plus we are doing a photobooth and getting the frames for that.

I thought we needed to have an actual favor on the tables but FH thinks that enough

For my favors I wanna make Kremas (it's a Haitian alcholic drink. FH is Haitian) The Kremas will be in a vintage glass bottle that I will bedazzle with pearls, lace and whatever else lol.

I'm not sure who I'm using yet. At first I wasn't going to get a Dj because FH is a Dj so are 2 of his brothers so I was going to have his brother do it. However, I want for his brother to also enjoy the wedding and reception. Also he's not always dependable and I don't want him to have to worry about carrying equipment.

I haven't really started shopping around for Dj quotes yet because I'm not sure who I would go with if I did decide to get a Dj because they definitely have to play more kompa than anything else. I love kompa.

Who are you going with? Any ideas who I should contact? I did meet with someone from Sound Connection and the quote he gave me wasn't bad it included ceremony music and the lights with our names on the floor. I don't want too much light because FH and I are so used to going to the club we want the wedding to def be more elegant but fun of course.

I met Silver fox's DJ at a WM mixers and I liked him. Thats all i know!!! lol

Ahh another 2012 bride crashing..sorry ladies!

We are actually not doing favors, we are going to do a donation to the American Cancer Society, being that both of our moms have had cancer and are in remission..:) and also since FH is a huge fan of the Rangers, he wants to donate to their charity which is Garden of Dreams. I thought that was a nice idea.

We are doing a donation favor as well but for Parkinson's disease and for a police oriented fund.

I kind of wanted to give out tiny boxes of fancy chocolate truffles. I kind of have a garden-y theme though so I was thinking those little seed tins that are personalized and FH wants to put like little flower pots of cookie bouquets. Like each couple could get a few cookies, they are super cute!
I'll have to price it out though.
My favorite favor I ever got though was a little shopping bag with a bagel, personalized coffee bags and jams for the next morning.

I think we are doing a bottle of wine (750 ml) per couple.

We are also having photobooth, cigar roller, shoe basket
And to-go boxes for Viennese and coffee cart on way out.

I kinda wanna do air fresheners in valet too but thats not def

We are doing meltaway chocolate from Wisconsin (FH family is from there); we are also doing photo booth as well and for the life of me i cant rememebr what FH wanted to add but we were talking about it the other night. Its going to kill me.

Jassy it's a creamy alcoholic drink made with condensed milk, cream of coconut, nutmeg, and rum (those are the basic main ingredients but there are others). It's really good.

Mmm sounds yummy! I love coconut. The ingredients remind me a of a latin drink Coquito. Its also creamy andchas coconut and rum!

I thought of a Coquito too! Now I'm craving some... FH got me addicted.

I am doing mini succulent plants

The crystal place card holder is a favor (can be used as picture holder or paper weight)

Going to have a strip frame at each seating like Jassy for the photobooth and it will say something liek please complete your favor by taking a picture at our photobooth

Little truffle box will be on each plate with 2 truffles inside

Ciagr roller so the guys will have cigars (and a few ladies maybe LOL)

Little sachets that valet will put int he cars fromt he rearview mirror with 'Thank you for coming and drive safe' tags on them

Vienesse Hour boxes

And at the end of the reception the bridal attendant will be giving out gift bags to guests as they walk out the reception room door so they can put their things in.

i am getting my favors from The Little Candy Cake Company , they are little mini wedding cakes made out of solid chocolate...so cute!!! I am using them to. I am having an image printed on a chocolate dipped graham cracker. I love the mini wedding cakes as well.

I used to work for MSG- Garden of Dreams is an amazing organization.
