I'd like to keep the favors inexpensive but still have them be awesome....what do people like? Having the WORST time with this!

Look into Afresh Approach. We are doing 4 truffle boxes, but they do 2 truffle boxes or jars with truffles. All their chocolate is fantastic!

I'm doing a photobooth so they can take home those pictures, and my MOH has MS so I was going to do a donation in honor of her.

My mother and his dad died of heart problems so we are making a donation to the american heart association in their names.

We are having a separate photographer that is going to take pictures of each couple. The pictures will be printed on site and put into a frame before each guest leaves. We thought people would like a nice picture of themselves while they were all dressed up. Plus it's something they can have forever.

Ive seen a lot of people recently do the car air fresheners...when the valet comes to get the car at the end of the night the fresheners are already hanging in the mirror...you can personalize them as well...look on etsy, im sure they are there...HTH!

Re: Favors?
Favors are tough. It's so hard to find something inexpensive that everyone will like. Is there any theme you guys are going for? Or perhaps a hobby or something you both really love? If not, I'd probably go for something edible. It's just easier that way. Most of the other little trinkets, sad to say, no matter how cute they are get tossed.
We did a candy buffet with chinese take out boxes for guests to fill up. We also had a photobooth so guests could take home photos and frosted glass coasters that just fit the photobooth pictures perfectly. Even still, most guests didn't take the coasters or don't use them often. But the photobooth and the candy buffet definitely did not go amiss!

We're centering our wedding around local vendors/produce etc, so we're looking into either small jars of honey, jam, or pies from out east

THIS! Love Jeanne at Afresh Approach, and we received so many compliments on the truffle favors she made for us.

we are doing the 2 truffles in a box with a cute label and they are very reasonably priced in my opinion. We are also putting out flip flops for the girls to change into during the reception and silk fans for during the ceremony which is outside in the beginning of September (hot, hot, hot!)

Maybe you can find something that's meaningful to you. We're probably doing pizza cutters, since FH is s pizza man at a restaurant. We also thought about doing personalized playing cards because he loves poker. We're having a photobooth and take home boxes for the VH, but we wanted a small extra that said something about us.

they have these types of people at the polish fair in riverhead but that is probably the week of or weekend before your wedding so that may not help lol

hmmmmm....ive been thinking of doing a photobooth and have cute little photo holders that double as placecard holders in our colors...i was also thinking of using afresh approach actually, maybe having boxes of 2 truffles per couple, and since we're ocean people, maybe having it in some sort of ocean or beachy theme...i like the car freshener idea too...all of these are great ideas! we were going to do little bottles of flavored sea salt but that got way too expensive.
