Favors AGAIN! What do you girls think of this one? - little long

Ok, so my wedding has sort of turned into a garden/spring theme. Don't know how that happened, but it works. LOL. My girls are wearing different shades of green, the CPs will have limes and orchids in them. And now onto favors... again!

My newest idea is to keep the wood roses, but put them in a little glass flower pot, and fill it with chocolate covered sunflowers. So my questions are...

A) What do you girls think of this favor?

B) If you like it, should I also use it as a placecard? (attach a little tag to it with name and table #)

C) If you like it, which color sunflower seeds? White? Green? Brown? Green and Brown?

D) If you don't like it, what the heck should I do as favors?

This might sound silly, but are thos edible roses? If so, that is what I wanted to do, use them as place cards and favors. I love the idea of the pot.

Yummm, edible roses, that is a good idea too! These ones aren't. They are wooden roses.

a) choc cover sunflower seeds is so unique i like it!!! but..... i would never know what they were or that they were edible... myabe im just a fool
b) you may not want things that could spill out on the floor during reception
c0 if you used, i would go with the brown as it color of dirt... not offensively, but meaning it wont stand out

since you said spring theme, if you want to stick with the wooden roses, i think you should use them as placecards also but put them in something like this .

i also think it would be cute if you did mini lucky bamboo plants instead of the roses!

tina, i am sorry but i don't like it- at all. i am being honest. perhaps you can use the escort cards that the RH gives you and write the guests names and then for the favor give something separate. I hate to be intrusive, but how much are you looking to spend per favor? maybe i can help.

what charity are you donating to? what about doing some candy tied in a bag with a little label that says something like 'we hope you'll enjoy your night knowing that you've made someone's life a little sweeter' or doing some seed packets with a placecard attached and put them on the grass bed thing i posted above with a cute saying?

This is a cute idea. Hmmm... Now I'm more confused! LOL. I despise favors!

if you have a mini-gardening theme going on, you can also give seed in a pack as a favor ... they have ones that you can personalize somewhere.

I mentioned on the BHB board that i really like thsi idea (and i still do) but i do agree with the girls here who pointed out that it could potentially be very messy ... maybe if you found a way to close the little 'pots' (or get boxes that look like pots).
