The place cards were just a test. I think I am going to move forward with it because I think they are really pretty.
The only problem is that I need a clear sealant spray or something like that because the glitter gets all over your hands. Someone suggested hairspray???
Any suggestions??

Supplies Art Glitter, Ultrafine Opaque will only cover the pumpkin gourds completely. The glitter is sold online.

Love it! Nice job--I especially like the pumpkins! Can you ask someone at the craft store about the glitter? I get the feeling that you can't prevent things like that with glitter.

Yeah, I think it is an non aresol spray. It's where the glitter glue for the shirts are. I believe it is by Tulip. It's like a glitter glue spray.

Jennifer~ I LOVE EVERYTHING!!!!!! You did an AWESOME job!!!!!! I would ask at Michael's because I know they make sealer spray's.... just not sure if it would seal the glitter on so it wouldn't come off onto your hands or not. I'm sure someone there could help you out!!!! They look GREAT though!!!!!

the holders are fantastic! Maybe you can try some clear spray paint in a gloss as that seems like it might be heavier to coat the pumpkin gourds and really hold the glitter in place.
Things like hairspray or spray fix are really better suited towards fine particles like charcoal or pastel drawings.
I just dont know how the clear spray would affect the pumpkin (like would it rot faster or something?)
