Favors for Christening??

Cassidys christening is coming up, and I'm not sure if favors are usually done for a Christening??

Did you, or will you have favors?

I will probably...when it's time for the Christenting. I love candles, so that's probably what I'll give out.

We gave out three chocolates from Lindt. We put them in mesh and ties a ribbon around them.

My sister did the personalized Hershey Bars with the wrapper that had the baby's picture on it. She also gave magnets with the babys picture and the date.

I did CDs for both my children's christenings. With baby related songs, Lukie's had songs that were befitting for a boy and then with Tara, girl songs.

I'm making lollipops that say Babys Baptisim and also having a candy cart. I figured that people always get traditional favors, candles, bowls etc, they seem geared more towards a wedding. You cant go wrong with candy. I found a place in Coney Island that sells cotton candy, candy apples etc and the price is less expensive than doing favors

I like food/edible favors. I plan on doing cookies with my baby's picture on them and chocolate lollipops.

For Caiden's Baptism my sister made chocolate lollipops that were Christening themed. Instead of just making them the brown chocolate she did different colors and painted the details. They came out soooo cute!

If anyone is interested I got my son's cookies from Flories Finals. They are a vendor on here. They came recommended to buy a few people here, & they were very good.
