Re: Favors For E- Party
Yea I didn't think so.. but some people were telling me you should and others said I didnt have to.. so what I was thinking was putting a bunch of little flower pots with flowers of course in them on the tables and people could take those home. I dont know.. but then I think what if I dont have enough.. Older people love stuff.. ya know I just think favors turn out to be dust collectors.. unless there usable.

I don't think there a must of a backyard party ....we had something in a restaurant and just had save the date mint tins on the table nothing with like our names and the date with ribbons or anything thing like that -

the only favor i am doing for my eparty is the favor of bar b que-ing for our guests. they are unnecessary, IMHO.

Re: Favors For E- Party
Mine is in my yard on July 3rd - at first, I was going to do e-ring shaped sugar cookie favors... then realized HOW HARD it will be to make, decorate and package 100 bags a few days before the party.
FH's aunt offered to make us bride and groom chocolate lollipops. I bought some nice satin ribbon to tie off the bags ($0.24 a spool at AC Moore this week!), and I think I'll attach a thank you tag to each one.
Much easier than the cookies!

Do mean to intrude on your board but that is the exact favor that was given out at my e-party (it was an outdoor party) and i have to tell you that everyone LOVED them!! Good choice

I'm planning on doing the cookie thing. You can bake the cookies well in advance and freeze them until you are ready to decorate. I think it will be easier on me that way.

Re: Favors For E- Party
i think handing out std something or others...candy tins/magnets/cards is a good idea if not, they are NOT necessary

We did the same exact thing. Otherwise we wouldn't have given anything.
