Hey, we did the same and I made little goodie bags for the children with candy in them. Simple and it was fine. I saw carmel apples and thought that it would be a cool idea, but they expire quickly so you'd have to buy them really close to the date. Good luck!!!!!!

Oriental Trading does something like this and it's $4.95 for the whole box. I got them for the little kids that were at our eparty.

We had bags for each of the kids with various stuff inside depending on their age, such as Mad Libs, Crayola coloring pads, funky glasses we got at the $1 bins from Target, etc. They loved them.
