I posted this on the 09 page, but I am posting it here also because I need all the help I can get ladies! I'm having a really hard time deciding on favors. I wanted to do a charitable donation but FH's family made faces when I mentioned that this past weekend. They really do not like the idea. Also I'm half Italian and my family usually gives big favors. Any one know of where I could get favors for an affoardable price that would satisfy my crazy Italian family lol! TIA!

How many guests? You can do photo frames with the place seatings and the donation. i would search Craiglist for wedding leftovers or weddings that didn't happen. I found great deals there. I also have 30 frames and 30 photoalbums for sale, see my 'for sale' album or FM if interested.

We did donation favors and I printed out a blurb on the same paper as my invites and put them in nice frames. It looked so nice and a lot of people were touched by what we did.

We are doing cookbooks made up of recipes from friends and family. My friend gave out a really nice server/spatula thing (not sure what its really called!) for cutting and serving something like lasagna and we use it all the time. GL!

I did monogram chocolates( cannot remember the website) and a donation to the american cancer society
I always found it interesting when people make faces at a donation to charity , especially since most favors ( not all ) go in someone junk draw, or get left on the table ect and a donation to charity is the best gift you can give IMO.

I am doing cupcakes! A single cupcake with a fondant disc on top of the swirl with my new last initial on each.
