My fiance wants to put 1 per seat. She said thats the easiest for the venue to do, etc.
I said, we should give it one per adult. Kids dont care about it etc...
Thoughts?

Re: Favors - give to everyone or just adults?
If it is a cup I would say one per guest.

We had 14 kids at our wedding (HS or younger) we got black and white cookies for them from the bakery that did our cake.

If you are going to be giving cups as favors I would give one for each person. If you give one per couple then they will have to share and will not have a set. You can give one per adult but then I would give the kids something different.

This!
Since its a cup, i would totally do one per person (adults). I liked someone idea of cookies for the kids.

Re: Favors - give to everyone or just adults?
Its cups and originally we planned to give 1 per person....and we ordered just enough cups to cover everyone attending (1 per person)
Then we received some gifts from people who are NOT attending the wedding.
So I thought - 'the least we could do is send them a favor'
But we don't have any extra favors.
There are 15 kids coming.
If we did 1 cup per ADULT, then we would have 15 extra cups to give to people who are not attending.
Couple of concerns: 1. The venue will be placing the favors at the tables. If its 10 adults and 2 kids at a table, how should they place the cups? If they just put down 10 cups....if the kids show up early, then they might just grab a cup from an 'adult's' seat. 2. My fiance is concerned that it will look 'cheap' if we don't give the kids a favor.
Any suggestions on what we can give the kids as a favor instead?
Thanks

I went to a wedding where the BMs gave a martini glass or chocolates as the favor when we were signing in the guestbook. It's a bit more work to have them do that but you'll be sure the cups go to adults and cookies to kids..
