Favors--HELP!

Favors--HELP!

Can you ladies help me find favors? I thought @ first I was going to do CD's but then I decided against that, then I thought donations which are still a possibility. I just want to do something nice that people won't just go home and throw away. I would love the favors to be autumn themed, but I have no clue where to start. Does anyone have websites or ideas or pictures or anything? I'm desperate. This is something that I could get done way in advance and I would rather not leave it to the last minute. Thank you!

I did favors for my sister's shower from
http://www.kellysjellies.com/weddings.html

It includes the wrapping and the label. They were a hit at the shower. You could use fall flavors like pumpkin pie.

I had a Christmas themed shower so I had Christmas Jam and Dutch Apple Pie.

On the label it read 'Laurie and Brian SPREAD the love!'

Those are great!! Thank you so much dawnie!! When your sister posted her shower review and mentioned the favors you did, I thought they were sooooooo unique and nice!! What a great saying!! I am going to search that site! I really appreciate it!

The lady is a doll and since she wraps them for you so that saves you money too.. I heard they were yummy.

We're getting married the same day! I'm doing an autumn theme as well - but I went with the ornaments as the favor. I'm not sure if you celebrate xmas - but if you do and most of your guests do - they're a great idea and I don't think most people who have a tree will throw them away! These open and I'm going to put chocolates in them.

ETS: In case anyone is interested - Crate & Barrel. I ordered them online - big sale!

dawnie--the jams look soooo yummy!!

oct04bride--we're getting married 10 months from today!! thank you so much for that idea. i celebrate christmas and just ordered a bunch of stuff from crate & barell's clearance sale! They have so many good things! The ornaments are so cute. I might be able to incorporate the fall theme into that favor. After all, an ornament does go on a 'tree' (autumn=trees)

keep the great ideas coming pleeeease!

My fiance and I wanted to give favors that people would actually use so we're giving chrome heart bottle stoppers. We figure everyone drinks something that comes in a bottle. You have to do your research once you decide on something because I've seen the stoppers sell for $7 but I found mine for more like $2.

How about something edible? Chocolates, candies, mini cakes. An idea I was considering a while back: My sis in Florida said she loved the favors from this one wedding. It was a white bag filled with 2 wrapped bagels, marmalade, mini cream cheese, and a small bag of ground coffee. She said it came with a lil note saying 'Breakfast in Bed'
I dont know, its just an idea!!!

Those are both really awesome ideas! Thank you! I might go with something edible, because @ you know they wouldn't just get chucked in the trash. maybe like leaf choclolates. you are right though about doing your research, it is so easy to get ripped off! Thanks again!

Since you're having a fall wedding, you can also carry the theme throughout. You can have leaves on your placecards (I'm sure you could find a stamp in an art store), chocolate leaves as favors on the table, and another cute idea I saw was to have either apples or pears wrapped in fall colored wax paper in baskets for people to take for the car ride home. Just an idea.

I found favors at www.wrapwithus.com. They were much cheaper then any place else. If you live in the area, they have a warehouse in Syosset, where you can actually take them with you. Good Luck!

We are doing picture frames. They pull double duty as place card holders and favors. We got some really nice ones for $1 online.

I live by Syosset! I will FM to get details! Thank you!!

I actually got my placecards. They are a tan color and have a leave logo and say 'We Fell In Love' With our names and the date. They are so cute. I Really like the fruit basket idea too!!
