Re: Favors Help
I don't think you need favors for the engagement party, but if you want them, go ahead.
One thing I saw in a magazine that I thought was cute were cookies that had the date of your wedding on them. So they are sort of edible save-the-dates. I thought this was a fun idea.

Re: Favors Help
we just did a cute bag of chocolate hearts in different colored chocolate.. simple yet something
I had the personalized M&M's I put them in little boxes, added ribbon and a gift stamp they were a hit. And my dad's cousin and his wife made up Choctaw bar labels for Hershey bars. Pics are in album under E-party. If you order the M&M's let me know ( send me FM) I will tell you how to save money.

I did bottles of wine per couple or if someone came alone, and each guest got a box with a cupcake. I love edible favors and thing it would be great for an e-party

Re: Favors Help
I did oil and vinegar bottles that I bought at the Christmas tree shop for &1.69 a piece and wrapped them in tissue paper them put them in silver wine bags from the liquor store and tied with a ribbon. It took a lot of time but it was a big hit and everyone loved them. I don;t have a pick but I;ve seen them on most favor websites for at least $6..00 a piece! If you have a chance..drop by the store...you can get a lot of ideas for very cheap.Good luck!

Re: Favors Help
I’m doing chocolate dipped fortune cookies...the fortune on the inside is going to say something like: Confucius says…save the date! We’re getting married July 19, 2008! I’ll still send out STDs later, but I thought this was a cute way to get the ball rolling.

Re: Favors Help
For our engagement party, we gave out the Perfect Pair salt and pepper shakers. They were adorable.
