Re: favors, last time!
Honestly.. that is a favor I would not keep. the jelly beans will be eaten,, but what are people going to do with the bag?
Remember you do not have to do favors if you dont want to.

i agree with Kim. Maybe something rather than jelly beans. unless that is your fav candy and everyone knows it. just jelly beans seems like not enough (even with the fan) maybe a small scale candy buffet would be good? (with just 3 choices)

Re: favors, last time!
what about these dove themed mint-tins that you can personalize??
That's very cute, thanks!! Jelly beans are my favorites which is why I wanted to do that....but I like this idea as well. They are expensive though, 500 pieces are 400 bux!! Maybe I could do one bag of jelly beans and one of chocolates for each couple?

Re: favors, last time!
Okay what about using this place card holder which is also a favor, giving each guest /couple a personalized satin bag of jelly belly jelly beans ( my favorite), and a bag of dove chocolates ( FH loves chocolate and doves are our theme) AND the little fan? Is that enough? Or too much now? LOL
Are you guys kidding me? This is more than enough and honestly, I don't think you need the fan unless your ceremony is in a hot hall or outside or something. I have been to some absolutely amazing and classy weddings where loads of money was spent and the most classy favors were the most understated ones, just a small thing of jordan almonds, or two small chocolates. Do not go overboard, it's a waste of money and can just end up being tacky.

Re: favors, last time!
These are cute- individually wrapped chocolate covered pretzels...they say Lisa and Pat are 'tying the knot'.
Honestly, don't spend a fortune on the favors. Pick one thing and that should be fine. My sister, who has money, said she didn't think people gave favors for weddings anymore. My friend, who goes to weddings all the time, said they do. So I decided on DIY favor that someone will use again. I don't think it should be how much you spent or how much you have of it. I like the dove photo holders, but are they expensive? What will someone do with them after the wedding? If you like the fans, go for it. If Jellybeans are your favorite or have a meaning to you, then use them. to me, it sounds like you are spending a small fortune and putting way to much thought into this.

Re: favors, last time!
I spent alittle bit extra & bought a lenox candy dish $8.50 each because I wanted something people could use. I think candy (jelly beans) is a good idea. I love the satin bag too. It's better then giving something that will wind up in garbage. I am doing a box of hershey kisses/hugs with a note inside that reads...' Hugs & Kisses from the Mr. & Mrs' Isn't that sooo cute. I am so excited!!

I don't know what your guests will do with a fan personalized with your name and wedding info, but honestly I would not use it.
Same for the personalized satin bag...save your money and use a simpler bag without the personalization since it probably will not be kept.
I, personally, am not a fan of edible favors alone, but that is just me.
Add up how much it will cost for the satin bag, fan, dove place card holder and jelly beans...is that what you're willing to spend on favors? if so, then you may want to use that amount to buy 1 nicer favor than multiple small favors.
