Are favors given out per couple/invite or per person? And if it's per invite, is it tacky to give one favor to a family of 5. My future sister in law is a plus five as 3 of her young adult children are coming. We didn't send them their own invites since they still live at home and are dependent on their parents, and we didn't want them to feel obligated to have to give a gift.
I'm giving separate favors to the younger kids coming to the wedding, little tote bags that will have coloring books and activities to keep them busy, but I have no idea if I should be doing something also for people bringing their kids that are late teens, early 20's.
Appreciate any suggestions...
Thanks,
Carol

Favors Question
One per person or per couple is up to u. It really depends on the favor. One wedding I went to the favor was a bottle of wine, that was one per couple. When it is something more simple sometimes everyone gets their own.
As for kids I don't know how favors work, we have very few kids coming.

My cousin's wedding, the bridal attendant brought out the favors and put them on a table near the bride and groom and as people said good bye to them they gave them their favor (per couple). I was 20 at the time and my FH (then boyfriend) we got a separate invitation and favor together as a couple, separate from my family.

Favors Question
Many weddings I've been to that have one per couple simply have the favor on the table 1 infront of 2 place settings. People know the deal lol

per person- found it to be easier that way because if you do per couple and put them on the tables, how will you know exactly what seat they will be in? i feel like it's too complicated so i just did per person

Favors Question
Depends on whst your giving. If your not doing per person generally its per card they give you. So a family of 5 gets 1 favor if they give you 1 card. For the kidsi tjink the tote bag is a great idea. You dknt have to do more

i do think it all depends on what you're giving. If it's edible, it typically should be per person. I'm giving one favor per person and will have a favors table so hoping guests will know to grab one before they leave.
