Our reception hall had a table in the back of the room with all the favors on it. Most of the guests never saw the table and went home without one. I feel terrible and so embarrassed that they may have thought I didn't bother to give out anything. How do I make up for this? Do I mention anything in the thank you? Do I mail one to each couple that came? Help!!

Re: Favors that were never given out
The ones that came from OOT I would mail out... the ones that are local i would wait until I see them again, maybe during the holidays? Dont worry about it!

Re: Favors that were never given out
Honestly alot of people may not have even noticed they were missing. I would just mention it to people when the wedding comes up in conversation and if you have them on you give them out. It just ***** cause im sure you put alot of thought into them and then to have them unnoticed. Why didnt the hall put them on the tables?

Re: Favors that were never given out
If they're small and inexpensive to mail, then I would mail them out with the thank you card or give them to people next time you see them.
My favors were keychains in small pouches. I sent one to every person who didn't come but sent a gift. They're small and inexpensive to send.

Re: Favors that were never given out
A lot of people don't give favors. So it is nothing to be embarrassed about. What stinks is that you spent money and put time into the favors. Maybe mail out the ones to OOt people like someone said and wait till you see the other people and hand it to them. This way they are not totally wasted.

Re: Favors that were never given out
What I am doing is going to stand by the table when people start saying goodbye so I can hand out as they leave.
I am sorry that happened to you. You might see a bunch of peopel at x-mas. I would wait.
