Favors! Vendor RAVE!!!!!!
I had a beautiful wedding and I am so happy with it. A few of my vendors - however - did disappoint me a little bit. Maybe I will write a review and get into detail... HOWEVER... I really wanted to shout out one vendor who went so far above and beyond for me... I just feel so blessed to have lucked into finding her. If anyone is looking for favors, invitations, centerpieces, personalized details... call EMMY from Overstuffed Baskets RIGHT NOW! She is beyond amazing - and her price was UNREAL.
I had a vague idea about what i wanted. I told her I wanted a set of heart shaped measuring spoons and a recipe for 'love' cookies and she could bundle it however she saw fit. But then I decided that if I could afford it I would like to make it more of a 'cookie kit' and that heart shaped cookie cutters and maybe an actual heart shaped cookie would really make it pop. Basically I gave her a bunch of elements and told her to put it together in a way that would not clash with my colors. What she did... I can't even begin to tell you.
My favors were unbelievable. I mean I am still startled by how incredible they were. She bundled everything together in a way that I couldn't even dream of. A rectangular box wrapped in pearly ivory paper with a bow flower whose petals were actually Jordan almonds and personalized ribbons with our names and wedding dates. Inside there was a trifold of a 'recipe for a successful marriage' perched on top of pink or green tissue paper that was held by a sticker with our monogram. Inside the tissue you found a heart shaped cookie, a heart shaped cookie cutter, a set of heart shaped 'measure of love' spoons' and a scroll (held together by 2 wedding rings) of our favorite cookie recipe.
She did such an incredible job. My crappy pictures don't begin to do them justice, but chere are a couple and there are more in the album.
