Favors...Help!!

Favors...Help!!

We've been going back and forth on these. Can't afford to spend more than $1 per person. I hate dust collecters, so we don't want trinkets.

We were thinking of gourment cookies...buying in bulk and putting 2 in a bag with a ribbon for when guests leave, but I can't find anything affordable.

Any suggestions? I feel like everything's been done already or is out of my price range!

Why dont you go over to the dollar tree I know they special order in large amounts if you need them. If you only want to spend that amount I would look there or do a google search for wedding favors that are $1.00 a lot will come up im sure. I do like the cookie idea!

the cookies are a great idea- what about going to bjs or costco- they make them fresh there in a variety of types and they are super cheap

Favor Warehouse has a .99 cent favor section... maybe not the most original or unique but still under a buck.

How about you make sugar cookies, or buy the pillsbury rolled dough, buy a Monogram cookie cutter, put in a bag, VOILA! A favor.

OR there are some great vendors on EBAY that do custom fortune cookies. Buy some takeout boxes in bulk on papermart.com in a variety of different colors. Custom Fortune cookies are very inexpensive WHEN on ebay.

Yes, I'm thinking of doing cookies as well. Like you said in your original post, i'm not a fan of trinkets for the sake of favors either. We're also doing a donation, but I think something edible to go home with as a favor is always a fantastic idea.

Depends on how I do the cookie part....if I wrap them in little individual bags I may print labels saying the charity name and then a cute little something about 'sweetnees', like sweet dreams from Bride & Groom, or something like that. If that becomes too much work, then I'll just put scrolls or frames on table naming the donation.

edible favors hardly ever go to waste. personally, i don't save favors from weddings because i'm a clutterbug to begin with! the cookies sound delish!

The cookies are a great idea. If you have someone who would make the sugar cookies with your monogram that would be really cute.
