I have noooo idea where to start with favors...I just want something nice that people will be able to eat or use. I feel that a lot of favors are a waste of money because a lot of people throw them away. Any suggestions would be great!!!!

I am not sure yet! I asked my local liquor store and they said the can get the mini bottles in wholesale quantities and then I am going to do a custom labels for them I think.
They run about 2.50-5.00 each depending on the brand etc.. I was going to use them as table cards (with each name and table # on them) but my planner made a good point that people would have to hold them all during cocktail hour! Made sense.. so i am 95% sure we will do them as favors

we did mini solid white chocoloate cakes that were personalized with our names and wedding date. they were a huge hit!

The Sugar Chic makes amazing cookies and if you tell her what you want the cookie to look like she will make it for you! My DH gave me a wine box as a gift as part of the proposal ... I wanted the cookie to look exactly like the wine box .. she nailed it and it tasted amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Theres a picture in my album if you want to see
Since your wedding is in june, you could do little smore's gift boxes - they usually come with a chocolate bar, graham crackers and marshmallows. The wine is also a great idea (i think we are doing that since we are big wine drinkers) but cookies in the shape of anything you want is great. And ITA with Sugar Chic - her stuff looks gorgeous!
But i agree with doing something edible - i am personally tired or frames and candy dishes and all that stuff that collects dust!

I think I'm going to have 2.5' potted plants as favors. I'm trying to pick out a hearty, hard-to-kill variety with the help of my florist suggestions.

We had the same problem. I hate favors that cannot be used or eaten! So, we did pizza cutters. People loved them...and use them!
ETA - I totally would have done truffles or cookies from sugar chic rather that the pizza cutter, but my budget wouldn't allow!

Charity donations all the way. Rather than have people leave behind or later throw out a favor, donate that money so it doesn't get wasted :)
