Favor/Vow Idea...

So Brad and I always give each other children's books for gifts. This way we are building a collection for when we ahve children. We thought it would be awesome to use the text from one of the books as our vows. Then we thought it would be fantstic if we could get a cheap pocket copy of the book to give out as our favor. What do you think?

Here is the text:

Its called you and me:
'All we need is you and me to be as happy as can be.
And no matter where we go, I will always love you so.
We could cross the world so wide, to see what's on the other side
We could travel the sea's bright sands, we could climb the highest lands
Or rest beneath the tallest tree, still all we'd need is you and me
We could lie upon the prairie grass, or travel up a mountain's pass,
and no matter what we meet, we'll always land upon our feet.
For we are dear and trusted friend, and wI iwll help you home again.
And on comin ghome you'd know, that no matter where we go,
all we need is you and me, to be as happy as can be.'

How about different quotes from the book on different wedding related things - maybe the whole book in your program then a few lines on your placecards, menus, favor tags etc.

How about different quotes from the book on different wedding related things - maybe the whole book in your program then a few lines on your placecards, menus, favor tags etc.

thats a nice idea! we are going to write to the publisher/author and see if they can give us a price cut on the books for favors lol

My aunt is a manager at barnes and noble..i get the discount through her....she is in europe this month but if the book is made she can order it and as long as you give me the money for it i can get her discount...not a problem!

ok..so you are looking for min versions of it to use as favors..let me know how many you'd need and then when she gets home I will see if B and N can get them and how much her price would be...then I'll let you know. If its better than your price I will order them. Like i said she is on vaca so it will have to wait about 3 weeks but I will def find out for you....
