.. has anyone used them? or heard them play??

I'm not sure...
.. I made an appointment this coming Wednesday to hear them..

I didnt realize there are more than one..

Do you recommend a specific band?

Well, I know there is the Original Faze 4 and then there is the Next Faze (I think that is what they are called). My dad is/was a club date musician and he worked for an agency that used to represent Faze 4 before they went out on their own. The Orginals are probably in their mid to late 40's and from what Dad said, they were booked every weekend. I would guess that the Next Faze is younger and maybe plays for a younger crowd.

We saw the original Faze4 at a wedding last year. They were terrific - the first time it occurred to me to ask about the band. The only downside was that their volume control wasn't particularly good - they were incredibly loud.

I am using Play by Play a Faze 4 band and I heard them play and they were great!

The originial Faze 4 band is EXPENSIVE. I was quoted $9000-$10,000 for a Sat in Sept.

I am using the Next Faze....they are amazing...they have lots of energy and the lead Jason is to die for. I can't wait to hear them at my wedding.

The whole company is really nice too...they gave us a CD of the NExt Faze so we can listen to them whenever we want....we just thought that was really great.

We are paying I think 8k.

I've been to 2 weddings that used Play by Play and they were great! We almost went with them for our wedding! The are in the $6-7k range.

I have also heard the Original Faze 4 at a wedding and they were unbelievable! They have an amazing percussion player who plays the bongo and she is fantastick! They are pricey (about $10k).
