I am no expert in this by any means, but just logically I think $150 is very very nice. he is covering his plate, which is most important. he did spend a lot on the whole thing, so $150 is super nice

i can't comment because we go above and beyond for gifts. FH was a groomsman for his bff's wedding and he gave 1k...

When I was a BM I gave $250...but I guess its a little different because it was my boyfriend-at-the-time's sister who I am really close with (she's my MOH).

I think $200 is good. $150 doesnt always cover your plate-- not that it matters-- but I try to give a bit more knowing how expensive weddings are these days

fh was in a bp once and he gave $500 but it was a really good friend of his oh and it was before we had the house. who knows what he would give now

ditto, maybe its a cultural thing but we tend to give more as well
