Fcuking fuming!!! Please help!

So this weekend, with all the last minute additions that people decided to make, we now need NINETEEN tables instead of 18, which is what we finally agreed upon. We purchased linens for 18 tables, CPs for 18 tables, favors for 180 people, menus for 180 people, napkins for 180 people. We're completely, totally and utterly fcuked now.

My stupid FH decided that he wanted to invite 6 extra co-workers!! SIX! Meanwhile, I had these invites printed for them months ago and he said he didn't want to invite them anymore.

Then this stupid girl who I'm not even really fcuking friends with decided to bring her d-bag boyfriend. I invited both of them to begin with but she insisted again and again that she was coming alone. What kills me is she told my FSIL this and not me or FH even though we BOTH saw her this Sunday!!! Didn't even mention it? Maybe because she knew it was wrong but went ahead and did it anyway.

Then my co-worker who I sit right the FCUK NEXT TO and have been asking since the day the invites went out if she was coming or not and if she was bringing her kids. She wouldn't give me a straight answer all these months and kept saying put me down for 2. Now I call to confirm one last time and she says let me call my husband and find out. She calls me back and tells me, no, put me down for 5 after all. Are these people fcuking with me?! I wish people would just drop out now!! PLEASE! Do me a favor!!

I'm literally sitting at my desk crying my eyes out. I'm PMSing so badly, I'm stressed, I hurt my shoulder so I can hardly even move it, and now I'm fcuked on top of it all! What do I do? Do I tell her no? Do I add an extra table and try to scramble to get the linens and CPs? I didn't want 19 tables because I feel like it'll be cramped!! But I also don't want more than 10 people at each table! What would you ladies do?

I think u should tell her no. She initially told you 2, and she has to understand that u already had reserved only 2 spaces for her!! people are so rude!!! What if she had told you 10 ppl?!!!!!

You can always add to a package, but it's hard to take away from it. So adding extra linens and such is something you CAN do.

Now...I personally wouldn't let that woman from work get away with it. I would just say 'Space is limited. You told me all along that you would need two seats and that's what was reserved for you. If you cannot attend without your children, then I'm sorry that you'll miss out on our big day' and leave it at that.

hmmm ... that's a tough one.

i'd try to put 11 or 12 people into each table so you don't need to get another CP & tablecloth.

Also, can you just not give your families any favors or napkins? you can tell them that since they're family, they get 'special' white napkins

I am seriously flipping!! I'm so annoyed by her! I think I'm going to have to tell her no. She's the type of person who will probably get all huffy and say well then she can't come at all. She never seems to be able to get a babysitter for anything ever. I love her girls and I wish she had told me from the get go that she was planning on bringing them because I would've been happy to make space for her, but not 11 days to the wedding!

I would tell her no! its too late. See if you can get the extra table set up for the other people your dh wants to invite. all you can do is try!

First off, Im sorry youre going through this --- Second .. breathe. After its all said and done this is just a hiccup ... I'd make another table if I were you. Call your RH tell them what happened and see what they can do .. call your florist have them make another CP. Doesnt your RH take care of the linens?

I would DEFINITELY say something to the coworker though. This isnt a casual fukcing bday party that anyone can come to! IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to, but she's also the type of person who will take that very personally and it'll probably ruin our friendship here at work. I have a major fear that she's also going to reserve 5 seats and then just not show up at ALL on the wedding day at which point I'd probably go to jail because I'd murder her.

I know I can add to the linens and everything, but then I have to pay for shipping and everything is supposed to be going to the RH tomorrow. I know I can drop off stuff next week, but I just wanted it out of my house already! I'm already trying to squeeze in 11 at a table here or there, but it's haaaaaaaaard. I hate this.

JT only has the plain cream linens and I had to be a PITA and get apple green linens! I bring it on myself, I know.

it's too much on you, your wedding is in 11 days you shouldnt be stressing stuff like this..Just relay it in a nice way and if she cant be happy with just being there for you that day even if its not with her children, then oh well. IMO, it's her fault.

Jill...you're pretty much one of the nicest people on this board, so I'm sure that IRL you're a sweetheart.

While you think that saying something like that to her will ruin your friendship...think of how she's treating YOU in this scenario. IMO, that's not how a friend is supposed to treat another friend. If she cared that much about you and your day, she would've had a solid answer for you weeks ago.

ITA! That is absolutely rediculous. As a few other girls said, I would tell her that you only had enough space for two, as that is what she originally told you. I seriously cannot believe the balls on some guests when it comes to this whole invite thing...

No way its your wedding! I didnt use my RH linens either :) Ugh - tell her to sit in the bathroom and bring her own utensils!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
