Honestly, i dont go anymore its just not the same.
i was going to post the same thing. I used to always go years ago when i was alot younger, even as a kid used to go with my parents. The last time i went was a LOOONG time ago, went with a bunch of friends and since then i will never go again hahaha...It took us 2 hours to go down 2 blocks, you cant even move its insane...you just stand there. I prefer to go to my local astoria feasts hahaha although those arent the same either

yessssss ... exactly, last time i went down with fh, tok the 6 train, took about an hour to get down there i think... walked 2 blocks, couldnt take the crowds bc you couldnt get anywhere, so we hopped back on the train n left.... we spent more time traveling than we were at the feast

If you go mid-week it's usually not as bad - the crowds are there on the weekends. I have gone the past few years on like a Tuesday or Wednesday night and we were able to walk through with no problems. But I've been there on those times when it tooks 2 hours to get down a few blocks and it's insane!!!!

For me its not even the crowds that annoy me its everything else. The food the stands the people. Its just not the same. I used to go with all of my family & they were off the boat italian & thats what you used to get there off the boat italian food & ferarras for dessert. Its not like that anymore. Plus every stand now is seeling CD's or some crap used to never be like that!
