I love love love my feather blanket w/ duvet (got from Macy's 1 1/2 years ago)... However, it sheds sooo many feathers! What is your feedback on this ? We registered for a new one... but also from Macy's... Is it the brand or is this just what happens??
i've had a few down comforters that leaked like crazy -- the last one i bought hasn't been bad, it's macy's hotel collection down comforter... so far so good, it's been about 3 yrs.
I have had my down comforter for about 5yrs and it has never leaked feathers. I honestly couldn't tell you what brand, but I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond.
Thanks ladies.... I'll look into these.... want to make sure we registered for a 'good' one. I feel like i have a duck as a pet w/ all the feathers I have now!!!
I had the same down comforter for years before I got a new one for my engagment party and it never shed...My new one is great! It has the squares so the feathers stay put...I would ask them at the store to be safe...I am a down expert! I have always had one!
