FED UP WITH MY CAR

Sorry I have to vent.
The key is stuck in the ignition again It has been in the for 2 days I can't get it out!!!!

This is an ongoing problem with this car. it seems to me like it happens more in the cold but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. LAst time I had it checked we were told the car is not registering that it is in park so that is why the key isn't coming out... so they say when I put the car into park to slam it into park! that works most of the time. Ray also adjusted the wires last year and that helped... but last week it started again It is really starting to drive me crazy. Like I pull up to a store but I am in my car for 15 minutes trying to get the key out.. finally I just disconnect the key from the keyring and leave it in.. and set the alarm hoping no one will steal my car! But that might be a good thing if someone stole it

I don't have any advice but I can sympathize. DH and I have had so much trouble with our cars. In fact, twice in the last few months, my car was in the shop and his car broke down at the same time, leaving us with NO car at all. I can laugh about the irony now.

Crappy Dodge Avenger 1997.

that used to happen with my old car. the ppl at AAA thought i was a moron. when i got rid of it, the key was stuck in it...good riddance.my problem with my new used car is that the gas tank door freezes so i drive around on empty untill it defrosts.

goodness julz cant imagine having that - well i have heard worse my friend can turn her car on without a key - kid you not the whole thing just turns and the car starts - really odd
she hasnt had a key in 2 years LOL
maybe it is time to look for a new car?
call my dh he can give you a hand
