Can anyone give me an idea what a rabbi will typically ask for (in terms of a fee) for a ceremony? We are having an interfaith ceremony on a Saturday afternoon. Guidance appreciated!

Re: Fee for Rabbi
Ours will only marry if both parties are Jewish. There is no set fee, although it was mentioned it would be nice If we made a donation to the Temple.

Re: Fee for Rabbi
i think mine was somewhere bw 750-900? i got a few quotes all around that price.
btw- i think it is funny and pathetic in a way that a rabbi charges more bc he will preform a ceremony @ a time he normally should not (ie: fri night, jewish holiday, etc). makes me think all they care about is the $$$$
fm if you want my rabbi's info. he is very nice and came to us to meet us (but located in bronx- conservative but modern).

Re: Fee for Rabbi
550 or 600 I'm having brain freeze - but he's not a Rabbi - he's a Cantor. Don't know if you'll want to look at that route
