I am currently going into my last semester of Accessory Design at FIT and was wondering if anyone wanted to take a peek at some of my stuff and give some feedback?

What direction are you looking to go in after graduation? I think your handbags are your strongest designs, especially the crock leather - I love the funky lining inside - very unexepected and whimsical.

i like handbags but in the end i decided that i wanted to go into childrens. I have an internship this semester with the kenneth cole kids line...very exciting...i cant wait to start!
The croc bag is one of my favs though I love suprise linings on serious looking bags soemthing to make you smile when you open it

Thanks for all the feedback! I've started my internship with kenneth cole in the kids department and it is amazing! I designed 2 shoes yesterday and as long as the sample look good when they get here they should be out in november for the holidays! I post some pictures of them when they come in for anyone interested

There is really no good tips for internships other than try and try again. During my 4 years I had 3 bad internships before I ended up at this good one so it's really all trial and error. But even the bad ones still help beef up your resume so ou suffer through and hope for a better one next time.

WooHoo!! First sample finially came back any other than the color looks perfect! In fact its being pushed from holiday to spring for wider distrobution...probably with a light gold base color. Soo exciting.. to bad I dont have little feet or i'd get me a pair ...turns out a kids 4 1/2 is a womens 7 1/2 or so.
As for the other sample...we wont go there cause its not anything like its supposed to be so we'll go with the idea that they spent all their tine on the first one and thats why the other one was yucky

Thanks! They got pushed from holiday 06 to spring 07 for wider distrobution so the colors will be different....gold I think but if i could fit my foot in it I so would
