more specifically anyone using or have used John H?

I searched the boards but it seems all jovon brides are using Telmo.

John H was the photog suggested to me from the company so just looking to see if anyone has had a good experience with him or pictures ?

I am using Jovon - my photographer are Dan & David.
I have met with David and loved him!!! He is amazing! I have yet to meet with Dan.
I would set up an appointment to meet with him.

Did you take your e-pics yet? I need to set up an appointment and do that!!

telmo is still there but they told me he is more money -

so they suggest john h

They did the same thing with me...at first the suggested Matthew but he was more expensive and then they suggested Dan. I was more concerned with my 2nd photographer b/c that was who we met with and liked and seen at work at a friends wedding and was amazing!

Are you have 1 photographer or 2?

I would definitely meet with the photographer they suggested and see how you get along with him if you are concerned.

All the pictures I have seen by so many of their photographers have been AMAZING & beautiful so I am not that worried.

I just recently booked JoVon for our wedding and wanted to share something about Matthew.... And be warned its not so good...

I had seen Matthew's work and loved the way he shot. I am attracted to the more non-traditional style and his shots were so great for what we were looking for. We however wanted to meet Matthew before we signed just to be sure that we got along with him, since it is the biggest and most stressful day in our lives. We went to meet with both Matthew and Telmo (on the very astute recommendation of my future sister in law).

To say the least.. I was less than impressed with Matthew.

He is young and came off as extremely cocky when we met him. He was dismissive and rude to my future mother-in-law as well as my fiance and I. I was really put off by him from the instant I met him. He just behaved as it if it was some big inconvenience for him to be there and talk with us through the biggest day of our lives. He made me extremely uncomfortable the entire time. Then Telmo showed up... mind you it was late in the evening --around 8:30 and Telmo was pleasant and kind and patient--he humored all of our questions and was great about being sure he was clear on what we wanted. After the two head photographers left, David and my fiance, myself and my future mother in law sat down to discuss the contract.
During that time, I took a break and headed upstairs to the restroom that overlooks the back parking lot at JoVon's studios. It was a warm night and the window happened to be open. What I overheard outside just astounded me.

Telmo asked Matthew, what he thought about us (as a prospective client)-- and Matthew said 'Well whatever, if I dont get the job f* them. I can't stand them anyway.' He continued on for another 2 minutes while I stood at the sink dumbfounded with what I was hearing. I couldn't believe the level of unprofessionalism as it spilled from that spoiled kid's mouth. It was absolutely astonishing.

When I returned downstairs to make the final decision I didnt even hesitate when I told David I wanted Telmo instead of Matthew. It makes no difference to me if Matthew had the style I liked.. I wasn't going to subject my family or my friends to that kind of childish arrogant attitude and rude language. Jovon nearly lost my account that night because of Matthew's antics.

I would definitely NOT recommend him to anyone on this board.

I recently booked Jovon for my photography. Originally we were going to have Matthew & Dave (2nd photographer). We had met with Dave and loved him. He is young but a great guy, saw his work & how he worked at a friends wedding. Because of the cost issue, FH & I went to meet with Jovon and he changed our head photographer to Dan., I want to thank you for being honest because we never met Matthew and I would not want someone like that as my photographer.
Did you take your e-pics yet? I want to schedule mine but haven’t decided where to take them yet.
