i made an appointment @ kleinfeld, and i'm a little worried about snobby salesgirls. any brides who've been there had that experience?
i also want to make appointments at the following places, so any feedback on what to expect or customer service is appreciated

I bought my dress at kleinfelds and they were amazing! You dont get that impression at all. The owner even came up to me to say hi and that I looked pretty in the dress. They are all very nice and work with the budget you give them. Not snobby at all!

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is horrible from what I hear. You can actually do a search and find threads about them. However, I got my dress at the Massapequa location which I had an okay experience so far.

you might also want to try The Wedding Salon of Manhasset on Northern Blvd. near the Americana Mall. Their customer service is excellent and they carry gorgeous gowns.

I used Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and have had a wonderful experience so far....in fact all my girls got their BM dresses seperatly and each time I went back (umm 8 times lol) they were more than happy to let me try on my sample for my girls...also when my dress came in I was so excited they let me come in right away to see it

I considered the same stores as you but got my dress at Wedding Atelier (just a few blocks from Kleinfelds).

Re: feedback on bridal stores
My sister loved Kleinfelds, but I didn't.
She had a better experience than I did. She had already tried on a bunch of dresses and knew what she was looking for. Also, he dressing room was in a more private location.
None of the sales people were snobby. I must admit I had an idea in my head of the dress I wanted, and was resistant to them telling me otherwise. This was my first time trying on dresses.
Most of these people know exactly what kind of dress will flatter your figure. So, hear them out when they suggest something.
I had a lovely experience with Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I'm a big girl and was concerned about them bringing me sample dresses I wouldn't be able to fit into. But my girl was great and found a huge selection of gowns for me to choose from.

I loved Pronovias (even though my dress didn't end up coming from there). They have a beautiful selection and it's a very calm and easy experience. They weren't high pressure, just helpful and easy to work with. Hope you like them too! Plus the salon is new and GORGEOUS

When we went to Kleinfeld's for my sister's gown we had a great experience! They weren't snobby at all and usually the owners are there and comment on what you're trying on! I have an appt. next weekend! I had a hard time at B.R. in Carle Place with my MOH dress so I'm not going back there!!

the wedding salon is definitely amazing. i had an awesome experience there and at the vera wang store right next to it. they are affiliated, so they'll probably ask you if you want to look at vera dresses also, but you'll need a separate appt. i went to the wedding salon first and then right to vera.

If you are looking to go to Bridal Reflections I would go to the Massapequa location. I had a horrible experience at the Carle Place store. I got my dress and Kleinfelds and it was amazing there. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They really work to stay with your budget and I loved everything about it. I would recommend them to anyone
