When did everyone start feeding solid foods to their babies...I'm asking because my Dr started Nicholas early because the bottle just wasn't enough. He always wanted more. He's 11 weeks and feeding him rice cereal has made him so much happier. He doesn't scream an hour after his bottle any more. My Dr wanted him on more foods but I won't do it yet. The rice cereal is working and I don't want to force any new foods on him until I absolutely have to. ANyone else start that early. BTW, Nicholas is 15 lbs already and 24 inches

I started with rice at 4 months so I cant really help you.

I didn't start until 4 or 5 months, but Jordan was breastfed too.

Alex was about 10 weeks when he started cereal.. rice and Oatmeal!!!
My son was born 10lbs.5oz., and bottles were just not enough... we actually started little tiny bits of cereal at 9 1/2 weeks.
