Feeding Vendors at Reception

I think this was asked already, but which vendors do I have to pay for to eat at the reception? Officiant, the Harpist that will play at the ceremony, DJ's, Photographers, florist??? I need to figure them into my counts.

Feeding Vendors at Reception

Only vendors that will be there at the reception.... I won't feed my ceremony musicians b/c they won't be at the reception and they only have to work an hour. My photographers will be with me all day so I plan on feeding them lunch and dinner.

Feeding Vendors at Reception

I plan on feeding photographer, videographer and band. Those are my only vendors that will be with me during the reception.

Same here

I am feeding the members of my band (all 8 of them) and my photographers (2). I believe they are counted as half-price in my costs.

Check with your reception site

At our wedding, we had the DJ and his assistant, the photographer and his assistant, and the videographer for a total of five. But, since Michael O`Neill Photography is on the house list at John Anthony`s, we only paid a partial cost for the two DJ plates. You will need to count all those who will be eating, but you might want to double-check with your reception site just to go through and make sure you`re not forgetting anyone.

If you feed them - do you tip them too????

I would most likely do both - but my FH thinks that we don't have to do both. What do you guys think/did/ or are doing?

I think it all depends on how happy you are with the service that is provided. I know that we are planning on tipping our photographers. People tips bands, videographers, event managers, etc... Rule of thumb is if the owner of the company is providing the service a tip is not required. But in the end that is all up to you.
