how many fittings do you get? I had my 1st, 2nd is next week, they're not doing too many alterations so should I bring whomever is going to bussle me or do I get a third, final fitting closer to the wedding?

I had two fittings the first when they pinned and the second when I went to try after it had been altered it needed to be taken up a little more but they did the quick then and I took it home that day. I had my MIL with me and they showed us both how to do the bustle and then she taught my mom and BMs ... they ended up not even doing it the Bridal attendants did it . My second fitting was less than a month before my wedding day.

I think every bride/bridal gown is different...I eneded up with 5 fittings because they ordered me a size larger than thery were supposed to and then they kept screwing up the bustle so they ended up sewing the bustle on me at the fifth visit....
I would bring whomever is going to bustle it the next time just in case!

bridal reflections told me 2 possibly 3
im having my second one on 10/5 and then possibly a third or maybe just a pick up the week of the wedding

I have three. Just had the first last weekend.
I was told to bring my MOH or someone to the second one so she can be shown how to do up the bustle.
I have a third appointment two weeks before, but my seamstress said that I most likely wouldn't need it and would be able to pick up my gown steamed and cleaned at that time. But we'll see!

It depends. I only had 2 fittings and then picked it up.
I did one fitting. I had lost a lot of weight and they had to take the gown in a lot and actually took it in extra since I was losing more weight. When I went for the 2nd fitting it fit perfectly, so then I just picked it up. Done.
Mine was probably a bit easier since it was corset back so you have some play

I had my 3rd last week because i didnt have shoes at the 2nd but they had it pulled out. The next one will be in about a week and a half where they will show my junior BM how to do the bustle. I will pick up a couple days before.

I had 3. First was about 2 months before the wedding - they changed the neckline and took the dress in. Second was a month before the wedding and they did the hem and bustle then. 3rd was 1 week before the wedding just to make sure it fit like a glove I picked it up 2 days before my wedding
