feel like they tried to rip me off

So ever since i was a lil girl i always said i wanted to get married at JT cuz the driveway lol.. well i had my prom there n loved it saw it with my friend when she was getting married n still loved it well last night i went to the expo n finally sat down n talked about prices.. now a few mnths ago when i went with my friend they told her $125/pp for sept sat night and we all know thats a busy month n $$$ so.... i asked about 10-10-10 and he tells me $115 PP he says its the biggest day of the yr i was quoted so much lower at other places for that day and JT has 4 roomssssssss i dunno.... im a bit upset about this... then for 10-01-10 he told me $100PPdoes this sound right for a fri in oct??? this is WITHOUTTTTT TAX & GRaT!!!

wow. i wish places where telling me prices like that. i have been told higher for September & October.
you may have been given a different price compared to your friend because you may me having less people. the more people you have the price per person decreases

really???? CLM told me $85 Swan Club $78 sans souci told me $90

sept is always higher then oct.... but in oct thats what i was quoted

i know that when we went to timberpoint country club they quoted us the same for Sept/Oct, i think those 2 months are always gonig to be more expensive. But I think that quote is really high. well it is out of my budget, i am not sure how much your budget is. but i guess you should still look around before you decide on that place.

For my 9/5 wedding CLM qouted me $90/pp, Sans Souci was $95/pp.

I didn't go to Swan Club cause I had my prom there and I didn't like the food. Not that it would be the same food for a wedding but I've heard complaints from people I know about their experiences attending weddings/functions there.

If you're looking into 10-10-10 I can find out what Westbury Manor is asking. Me & my friend (who is looking to get married 10-10-10) are goingthere together tonight. I'll let you know what they qouted her/me.

IMO thats alot... if you are set on getting married there, maybe you can try a different month? October is still considered 'peak season' unfortuantely.

I am 10-10-10 and I am only paying 95 a head. Its the same price as any other sunday night...nothing special...

JT quoted me $95 for a Friday night in June so i don't think that's bad at all. Sunday night with a holiday are considered Saturday nights at some places. The $100 you got quoted for a Friday night sounds about right to me.

Honestly I think that sounds right. I was originially quoting Oct/Nov saturday nights and EVERYWHERE was at least $110 and up.

10/10/10 may be a Sunday but since monday is a holiday they are most likely charging a sat. night price. Alot of the RHs I spoke to were doing this.

JT can easily be over $100 pp, especially in September and October since those are VERY popular wedding months.

If you are set on having it there (which I dont blame you because I LOVE my RH!!) you can always get some quotes for different months, days and maybe consider afternoons!
