Feel So Behind

Does anyone else feel like they are so behind schedule ?? I feel like i am stuck in a rut right now and havent moved forward.

what does everyone still have left to do ???

You sooo are not! You just did bm dresses which is great! I haven't yet and am hoping to soon. I'm sure all the little things will overwhelm me real soon, though. Hang in there!!

ughh I really do!! I canceled my RH two weeks ago and am in the process of booking my new one. I'm also changing churches!! I can't get anything else done until I know what time the ceremony/reception is and NO ONE IS GETTING BACK TO ME AHHHHHHHHHH

no one is as behind as i am. our Wedding is in April & we still did not book the limos or the florist.

& do to some unplanned physical therapy that i need for my back the wedding account is down $300. wonderful!!

Now I'm nervous and you should feel fine! I can't decide on anything, havent even started looking at BM dresses! yikes.

In my opinion you are SO not behind!! I am an Oct 2010 bride too, and i have booked photo/video,dj,florist and officiant.
Everyone tells me im AHEAD!! My mom is friends with a wedding planner who gives me advice etc, and even SHE says im on point!!
I havent even STARTED looking for my dress or thinking about bridesmaid dresses and I dont plan to for a couple months.
Being on this site makes me feel behind, though... I see some brides that are getting married in even 2011 who already have their dresses and invitations (which theres nothing wrong with)!! Just because some people do things very early doesnt mean we are behind!

we still need the MAJORS like

flowers
invites
limos
DRESSES (I THINK I found mine, but I'm not 100%)
and then all the other little things...

your not behind, i on the other hand need to start moving again lol.
i need to order invites, bm dresses, tux/suite, shoes, veil, favors, bridal shower.... rings and bus

i do at times..the past 2 days have been good i feel like im getting back into the swing of things

um i have exactally 95 things left to do, so idk if you really want my whole list

big-ish things left:

hair/mu

I feel stuck on STDs. But so far I've done:

-photo/video
-dj
-bought cake server and knife set
-set up limo contract, just need to make deposit
-almost done with florist, need to meet one more time with Pedestals though, just to be sure
-booked OOT hotel block and night of stay
-not dress shopping til after the holidays, per my mom, who is buying my stuff!

still need to get out of the way immediately:
-bm dresses and DOJ
-honeymoon (almost ready)
-epics
-idk what else, but I know there's so much more for the immediate!

I'm way behind to the point of 'OH SH*T' !!!!

My FH and I have been engaged since Valentines day. We had no idea what kind of wedding we wanted (justice of the peace or a big to-do) or what we could even afford!

We finally decided TONIGHT!! that we're going for the traditional wedding. Thankfully, my friends dragged me out to look at RH to get me in the wedding planning mood, so we have our RH picked out, we just need to go book it!

We also decided to keep the date that we originally picked out (October 2010). As of a few weeks ago, our choice reception hall wasn't booked so I'm praying that when I call tomorrow, it's still open. If it's not, I won't be heartbroken but it would be nice if it were!

So don't worry, there are people that are off worse! lol

I didn't even start planning my wedding (literally didn't pick an RH) until the middle of September. And seriously, I don't feel behind at all. So you really don't have anything to worry about. Some people like to get things done early, but it doesn't mean that's how it has to be done. I still have yet to do flowers, invitations, transportation, and rd and I'm not worried. Things move fast!! You're totally fine!!
