feel so sad & alone today

me & FH just through our first 9 weeks away from each other and it's been HELL!!! As most of you know, he lives in Colorado and we're not going to be able to see each other until the week of the wedding. We've never gone THIS long without each other and there's still 6 weeks left of this crap. Grrrr!!! And today he's got family obligations and is not around to even just talk to on the phone (which always helps a little to ease the pain of being a part).

Oh well. What are you gonna do? Not too much longer, i guess. I can't wait until we're finally married and never have to go through this kind of garbage ever again.

we were in a very similar situation.....we were long distance until September!!!!
You will make it, but it's sad being apart for your engagement.
However, please take this one suggestion...do everything you want to do on your own that he does not like to do...movies, shopping, shows, what ever. Get caught up on tv shows he doesn't like!
Once you are married time to do your own thing goes away.

AWWWWWWW hang in there not too much longer the weeks will fly by before you know it try to keep yourself busy......a day like today is probably why you are feeling more down it is so crummy out

thanks you guys. It's been really rough trying to get through all this time without him. I do like having my personal space, so I know that in a while I may end up disappointed that I didn't take advantage of all this 'alone time'. But it's just not worth it to be with other friends. I miss him more than I ever thought was possible. Thank God it's almost over.

I'm sorry you are lonely! I know how you feel. I went to visit DH in Greece when he was studying abroad. We got engaged there and it was amazing but then I went home a week later and he stayed in Greece. It was really tough because I was beyond excited about getting engaged but it was bittersweet because we weren't together for the first beginning amazing part. He came home a few months later but we still had a year and a half of college-long distance. I think that it definitely made our relationship stronger. You are more than halfway done so that's a positive thing. Plus, just think how special it will be and you'll be so excited. Your wedding day will be amazing anyway but especially because you really appreciate each other because you were apart. I know that doesn't make it any easier right now and you are still sad but it will get better! FM me if you need to talk.

thank you Reading that really did help. I'm glad there's somebody else who's experienced what I have. Nobody can understand how BADLY it hurts unless they live it for a while. I really do believe that it's the distance that makes us stronger as a couple. We've really learned to appreciate one another - flaws & all And i know that our wedding day is going to be so much more special just because we'll be so thankful to finally HAVE each other again. I just wish time would move faster....

I can't even imagine how hard it is for you to be so far away from your FH. Just know that when you see him again it will be amazing and sooo special
