There will be a couple of different answers depending on which songs you are talking about. I think the second song you mean is Mendelsohn's Wedding March, but there are a few songs to march down the aisle to. Are you doing Here Comes the Bride? I assume not because that's a pretty easy one to figure out.
Also, why do you always write about how stupid your questions are?!?!?!?

Re: feel so stupid to ask this.....
Walking down the aisle for the bride is The Wedding March from Lohengren (please check the spelling) by Richard Wagner.
On the way out it's not the same!! Hang on let me call FFIL!
On the way out it's Bridal Chorus from Midsummer Night's Dream by Mendelsohn.
(That's my final answer)

Re: feel so stupid to ask this.....
I'm using Ave Maria for the bridal party and for my walk down the aisle I am using Canon in D - you should check it out on Utube - it's gorgeous.
I'm not positive about the recessional.

I'm not traditional either. I'm having two violins and a cello at the wedding and I want to walk to Canon in D instead of my bridal party so I need to find something for them. But for a recessional I want the strings part from Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve. Just the isolated violin part repeated. I know it sounds weird but it sounds so pretty on it's own and I think it sounds upbeat. I still have to explain all of this to FFIL and it may have to be re-arranged but *shrug* it'll all work out.
EDA: I thought about Over the Rainbow on strings for my walk or my BM's but I didn't think it was really what I wanted though it is very pretty if anyone is looking for something different.

I'm planning on using Over the Rainbow for when the bridal party walks in. Wiz of Oz is my favorite movie and I want it incorporated somewhere.

Bridal March by Wagner and Bridal Chorus by Mendelssohn
This is what I'm using too... These are the traditional processional and recessional songs.

Re: feel so stupid to ask this.....
Clearly not a dumb question since everyone has different answers...
Usually people use Canon in D for BP to walk down and Mendelssohn's Wedding March for the Bride...which can also be used for the recessional as well!

Re: feel so stupid to ask this.....
Sorry everyone up there seems to be in agreement, but you all have it backwards...look it up.
'Here comes the Bride' is actually the Bridal Chorus (also sometimes know as the Bridal March, but thats not the official name) by Wagner

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridal_Chorus
The Wedding March by Mendlesohn is the one that most people use when they leave the church.
