Feelin blue...

I am really missing FH lately...now that its officially over a year since we started talking and being long distance I think it is taking its toll on me. I think its even worse that FH is trying really hard to find a job out here so we can be together and he's sent out at least 20 applications and has only heard back from 2 (both no's)...I am starting to get worried...its such a hard time to find a job and while there are many jobs in his field he doesn't have a college degree, just certifications...

What if he doesn't get a job? I don't think I could handle much more of being this far apart from him. Seeing him 1x a month is not enough!!

Please send prayers our way...we really need him to get a good job so that we can be together!!

What does he do, so we can keep our eyes open for jobs!

i know its hard now but stay positive.

stay positive. me and my FH went through him looking for a job. for 6 months he couldnt find anything, and now he's been working for over a month and loves it. just requires some patience. wishing u both the best

This is my motto to live by. I've learned that time and time again.

to you Ilana. FH was laid off back in November and it took him almost 4 months to get a new job. Your FH will find something, it's just going to take some time and patience. But he may actually have to move here BEFORE he finds a job, just so it'll be easier during the interview process. Is that an option?

He works in computers...tech support or junior sys administrator...I'm not really sure coz those job ads are in a different language...

I really wish he could move here beforehand...but his daughter is still in school and my parents don't want her to live in the house with us because my Dad works from home and she's only 6...and we can't afford to live on our own until he has a job. Its a horrible space between a rock and a hard place since its so much harder to get a job when you don't live here and I think that probably a lot of people don't even want to deal with him since he's in Ohio...
