so disapointed with my gown.. i've felt like this for a while im just NOT inlove with it like i was hoping i would be... i bought it in jan. and i just feel like i always dreamet of an all lace gown and the more i see lace gowns the more upset i get... dont get my wrong i think my dress is beautiful but maybe i should have waited? or maybe i will feel better when it fits right and theres just no turning back.. theres no way in hell my parent would let me get a new dress now anyway. but i guess im just having a rough week. VENT OVER!

So many girls made such good points to me the other day that it really helped.

First off like you said my mom would never buy me another dress so it just isn't an option to get a new one.

Also I know it is important and its our wedding day, but in reality it is just a dress and like you said your dress is beautiful. I am sure there are 20 dresses that every girl on these boards would love but we can only get one and you picked yours for a reason.

When I called Macys the woman made me feel better by saying when my dress finally comes in it will be clean and the length will be perfect for me and it will fit better so I am waiting till January when mine comes in and trying it on again and I might add some different silvery beading, maybe you could add something or remove something to make it a litle different.

thanks girls just having one of those pitty me days! i think i was upset with it when i tried it on a month or so ago for the fact that i had gained 10 lbs so it was pulling and then they didnt have my vail or slip in to try it on with then the STUPID lady that works there wouldnt pink the straps for me so it was falling down.. just a bad experience which is not what i needed after my doubts! but hey.. itll work out! then ill get a black cocktail dress out of it after its all said and done!

I feel the same way too, kind of. I was kind of rushed to find a dress since I'm not in NY that often. I really do love my dress but sometimes I wonder if it's too simple or not poofy enough or not enough lace.

I did try on about a million dresses, but i've come across dresses on here that i didn't see in the stores so I would have liked to try those on to compare.

I think we're going back to Lillette's when I'm in for Thanksgiving so my mom can show me the MOB dress she likes, so I'll probably find some excuse to try my dress on again (even though it's been ordered for a while) just to appease myself.... I think 'oh, let me see what MOB dress looks like next to my gown!' should be a good excuse

I have to agree...your dress is so original and it compliments you sooo well!

But on the hand I understand how you feel cause I've been there as well!
