feeling a bit aprehensive about Duet

feeling a bit aprehensive about Duet

i booked with Duet with the Woo Team. We booked rather quickly and I am feeling a bit worried about our decision.

There are a few things that bother me.

How did you feel with them. Did I make a good decision? Fi feels the photos will come out great.

I'm also a bit upset they don't post online and we can't get a leather bound album for the traditional album. I feel the album cover should be an option. We are paying good money.

But photo - wise. and photographer wise, were you happy? did you get all the shots you wanted and did you like the photographers? were you comfortable with them?

i don't like that they would not let us meet with them before booking. all the other places would do that.

Please be honest. I don't want my wedding day to have stress because of a photographer. I'd rather lose my deposit than get mad over not getting shots or having a photographer not do what I want or be lazy.

Thanks for any input.

We used Duet and had Alberto and Gio. We loved them. The only pics they didnt take were ones that I forgot to put on my list. Aside from that, they took every photo I asked for. All in all, I had a great experiance with them. Here are some of my scanned pics

Good luck!!

eta.. we met with Alberto the week before the wedding to go over everything.

I saw your photos before. They are great. But they are a different team, that's what got me nervous. I haven't seen any recent photos with the photographers i'm going with.

okay, so I'll make a detailed list and every photo I see that I like of anybody's I'm going to print up and bring to them.

you made me feel a bit better. thank you.

I'm glad you are happy. ::::wiping sweat off forehead:::: whew. makes me feel so much better, you have no idea.

Dont be nervous. My friend got married last October and had Woo and she LOVED her pics. They didn't mind my extensive list of must take pics. I just wish I would of given them more posed photojournalistic type pics but there is nothing I can do about that now!

I had Woo's team and I loved my pics. The pics I didn't get were because of time constraints, and I had to choose some to cut, but that was my choice.

Here's my album layout:

I feel good about Duet. While I was there a bride came in with her album and was thanking everyone for a job well done. She was very happy. What I like about Duet is that they seem like they are very helpful and understand that it is your day. My fiance and I bumped into Henry at a wedding showcase and he remembered us. It was very nice and made us feel special. Especially since I met with him twice and my fiance only met him once. Susan is soooo nice and customer service is a big plus with me. I love their work and can't wait to get married to see my proofs. Did you see a post of someone's engagement pics at central park? They were beautiful!!!

I just booked Duet today! We booked Jay's team... I couldn't decide between Jay and Woo so we just picked Jay....because I loved that picture hanging in the window with the bride in the mirror w/ her father looking in... Jay took that one.. But looking at both photographers work.. i really coudln't decide.. I hope I'll be happy!

I am so about Duet. I actually requested Woo's team based on the pictures I have seen. Their work is amazing and ALL the reviews I have seen int eh past few YEARS all rave about them. How can so many people be happy with them...cause they are that good.
I am not worried at all and actually DUET is the vendor I am most excited about.

Re: feeling a bit aprehensive about Duet

we are using Jays team! i am so excited about this vendor because the photos brought tears to my eyes...literally. I thought , if i could ntear up with someone elses wedding pictures than surely mine will be fabulous as well! I dont even remember woo's albums, it was a while ago- but so many brides are thrilled with them that you really should not worry(although as a fellow bride, we all do! ) If you are concerned about seeing newer pictures ask them to see them. You can meet with them if you are nervous, Just call...I have spoken with NIcole and Susan both are helpful
