Feeling bad!!! :(

I would be sad if DH went away but I know he would have fun. It's cute that he is going to miss you.

Aww! I understand. I get a lot more time than DH does, so I would totally go away with my mom or friends. The thing is, it always ***** being the one left behind! You're going to be in a new place, having fun and visiting relatives, and he is going to be in your bed reminded of how you aren't there! I have no problem sleeping without DH in a hotel or different place (I have been away for work), but I cannot sleep in our bed without him! Don't feel bad, but bring him back a nice souvernir! Plus, when I was away for work for a while, he was so much more appreciative of me when I got back!

ETA: You KNOW he will be playing poker 24/7, right?

I would feel bad. I am leaving my husband for 4 days for business & I am dreading it.

In your case though, it is a great opportunity to visit your family & its not liek your didnt'want your husband, to coem, he just couldn't. I probably would have gone too.

I am leaving to go to Italy in a few days to visit relatives (my grandmother especially). I am going with my mom and sister. Dh is staying home (taking care of the cat / couldn't take all that time off from work, etc). Everyday he keeps saying how he is going to miss me and wishes I wasn't going for so long, etc. I am starting to feel really guilty about leaving him for 9 days. Is this bad? Would you have left your dh to go away like this??

Need some advice.

I'm going to Florida with Dh's sisters THEN going to Las Vegas with my sister and cousin. ALL IN THE SAME MONTH!!! I feel TERRIBLE about leaving DH but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Unfortunately, your DH couldn't get off from work but I'm sure if he could he'd be with you. It's normal to feel that way. This will be the first time I won't see DH at night since we got married
