FH and my mom. i cannot really get into the details but although they get along and my mom treats him as another son of hers...they butt heads on some things a lot. Its really hard for me not to talk to my mom about when FH and I have an argument...but i really shouldn't b/c she gets judgemental and I'm throwing a wrench in their relationship. It's soo hard b/c i'm so close to my mom but also i love FH and i just feel caught in btwn. i think there's also some major cultural differences involved in their disagreements....ughhhhh

i understand how you feel
best thing to do is to avoid complaining about FH to your mom and other family members
I know its difficult when you're close to someone...but it really is the best thing for your relationship with FH and with your family

ITA. Sometimes I regret telling my mom about a fight between FH and I, because after I have forgiven him, she might not. (Nobody messes with her babies!)

i agree with the other poster. when i have a fight FH i don't tell anyone. i don' want anyone to judge him over a fight that we have alread resolved.

Re: feeling caught in between...
I think lots of us have had this problem. I complained to my best friend about fh years ago and although she likes him, she now feels like hes too possessive and limits what i do.
I regret saying anything.
On a side note. If he complained to his family about me theyd side w me bc they know how he is and im really close w them. He's late for everything and they always say oh anthony, we know you were probably still in bed while amy sat on the couch dressed and waiting for you. Yeah..theyve got his number.

ITA!! I don't ever tell anyone in my family when FH and I have an argument/disagreement. I really don't want anyone to judge him based on an argument that we had. Also we usually resolve things pretty quickly so I just don't feel the need to involve anyone else. It's best to keep the argument between you and FH and if you feel the need to talk about it maybe confide in a friend instead of family members.

Re: feeling caught in between...
I can luckily say FH and Ihave never had a huge fight that I felt so torn about that i had to involve my mom. I learned well b4 Fh that fights should be kept between those involved b/c it does involve somethat don't need to be. Since my sister passing Fh has stepped up as another son -- even though i have a brother. He takes mom n gma out for dinner and b dinners and makes sure they are involced in enought... If i need to ***** about Fh ... which dos happen.. i ***** to my MOH... she know and loves FH and understands that everyone has there moments. He has pick me and MOH from bar at our lowest and highest moments...... while of course if I bitche daboutsomething major with FH MOH would be on my side... but usually it would be something stupid like he didn;t put out the recycling (which I hate) orrrrr he didn;t wash thedoors in the shower.... none the less ithinkits importatnt to learn who you can and can nocomplain to
