Feeling Discouraged =(

We have been working with a travel agent the last few days and it seems that every time she emails us back with different honeymoon resorts nothing seems to catch our eye. I am starting to feel a little discouraged that we won't find a place. =(

At first my fiance wanted to do an all inclusive, particularly a Sandals. I disagreed with him because I just feel we can do that any other time. A honeymoon should be a once in a life time trip in my opinion. I want a beautiful beach and to relax most of the vacation with a few excursions. So far I received info on St. Vincent/Grenadines, Sandals Grenada, Anguilla, Nicaragua, Belize, and Fiji. (Yes they all sound amazing!) However, theres just something wrong with each resort. Either one of them doesn't provide a tv in the room (hubby likes to watch before going to sleep), or one is too expensive, one is less amount of days then what we want to stay but can't stay any longer because its out of our price range, another-the resort isn't really anything special and some just have regular rooms. I honestly thought our budget for a honeymoon was a great number and I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a place.

What about, Hermitage Bay In Antigua or Jade Mountain in St Lucia. Those are really beautiful resorts!?

Its funny you say that because I just emailed the travel agent about Antigua and was looking at Hermitage Bay. Someone also mentioned Galley Bay Resort? At first, I wanted to go to the Sandals in St. Lucia and go to Jade Mountain for a few days but I think its out of our price range to stay the entire time at Jade.

Yea they are both really beautiful! I have stared at pictures of Hermitage Bay for a LONG time! LOL One of these days! The water in Antigua is more calm and more crystal blue then St Lucia...thats a big plus for me!

Hawaii is beautiful! I have been to every island! You will love it. I would go there for my honeymoon if I didn't already visit.

You should do French Polynesia, you can do multiple islands (we are doing Moorea, Taha'a & Bora Bora) and it would be a once in a lifetime trip! There are lesser expensive resorts too.
If you want to stay closer to home Anguilla is beautiful or Turks & Caicos.

How about Aruba? It's a beautiful island. I stayed at the Tamarijn AI resort back in June and it was great. The food was a little hit or miss, but the room was comfortable (with a TV) and the rooms were on the beach.

Is it expensive? Apparently, everywhere I want to go is over $10,000-$11,000 which is my budget. I don't get it and I'm getting frustrated.
