feeling down...

feeling down...

is it just me or does anyone else feel down sometimes... just like the whole 'wedding planning' experience is more stress than excitement?

Re: feeling down...

It's okay to feel that way at times...especially when the day draws closer and closer.

I'm sure you're not alone. Just take a day off if you need it....breathe and pray about it! You're spirits will be back up in no time!

For now, think about that great day coming up...that's what really counts...and there is NO DOUBT that it will be exciting, more than you expected, and filled with joy! Take care!

It's bound to happen. I feel like that sometimes. You just can't make your wedding planning consume you!

It's ok...as long as the feeling passes...and with the weather being like this, it makes us more prone to it...the lack of sunshine actually can give you the blues!

Re: feeling down...

Sometimes people mean well (like US on this board) and we all say 'planning's going to be so much fun'... and then when something happens that's not so fun you feel disappointed? If that's what you mean then you're totally NORMAL! Don't keep telling yourself that everything has to happen a certain way or be a certain way or you'll lose some of the magic. Take everything at your own pace and do everything you want to do. If you want to frown, frown. You don't have to be a ball of happiness and smiles at all times. It's OK to be stressed and you're not alone.

When my FH and I were on a way to an RH, we got lost (he was copilot) and I totally blew up on him b/c I was so stressed. It happens. We're only human.

(I'm totally in class right now!!! )

I think that is completely normal....sometimes I just can't wait until I have my life back!

Don't get me wrong, I am excited about the wedding, but sometimes when you don't feel like doing the planning - and it just never seems to end - it gets a little depressing.

oh yeah, you should have asked me this on saturday when my mother was giving me a nervous breakdown about the invitations.

sometimes it's so much fun and other days I can't wait for it to be over.

hang in and look at the bright side..you'll be out of it sooner than me...its almost here!

I am feeling very stressed. Between finding places for shower gifts, writing thank you notes, finishing wedding details, getting RSVPs, and preparing to go back to school I am starting to go crazy!!!

i agree, at times i feel like that

when people dont RSVP on time

when your forced to invite people you dont want

when i think of kids running around at the wedding ...maybe they'll knock over my wedding cake?

ah ...

Re: feeling down...

Absolutely it gets stressful but it will blow over fast. Soon you will be a beautiful bride marrying your prince! Just keep the big picture in mind and don't get caught up in all the details, some of them nobody is going to remember anyway.
