feeling down...

feeling down...

i think i'm gonna end up planning my own shower i just feel like i'm there for certain ppl on their day, then when it comes to mine, its always in the back burner. My MOH doesnt get along with some of my BM, so you can only imagine. I feel so depressed right now and to top it off, FH & I got into an argument (a big one). Just needed to let it out.

First, for you...I know how you are feeling, I think we all feel like that at one point or another in our planning, it is inevitable!!! And stupid FH's never help...last night was our amazing bachelor/bachelorette party and he is so hung over he literally slept allllll day, regardless of what we needed to do today...but, I digress. ANYWAY, I'm sure that your bridal party will pull through for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try not to expect from other people, our frustration mostly comes from expectations not being met -- i feel the same way about my shower and bachelorette and somehow have convinced myself over time that whatever happens happens, if my girls plan anything for me, then it would be a nice surpirse, if not, so be it -- i won't hold it against them

Yea...what about mom or FMIL or siblings or MOH or them workng together...it doesnt have to be the whole bp.

my mom is paying for the shower but shes not the type that can plan the party and games by herself. We're supposed to meet and discuss it, but it seems like a 'bother' to get ppl together. I'm not even the type to expect things, believe me, but i just thought it would be different.

Anyway, thanks girls for listening! I'm sure it'll get better, just one of those off days .

aww hun don't worry.. you tend to argue and fight most with those you love the most.. so don't let it bring you down..

i wish you bridal party was a bit more considerate, what can you do except be the bigger person..

Awww....I'm sorry you are feeling down! I'm sure everything will work out! Maybe they are planning to surprise you and are letting on like they aren't interested.
